40 years ago today A Clockwork Orange was unleashed upon the world. And while much has been said of the film, both positive and negative, it remains one of the most important films ever made. Kubrick brought something amazing to the screen and he deserves our thanks. If you haven’t seen the movie, or read the book, do so now. The opening shot alone is worth it.
